iNewz Green and Twitter

March 1st, 2009 by john

Although we’re not posting new content to the blog here quite as often, you can keep up with all the things we’re finding in green news thanks to our iNewz Green application for the iPhone and iPod touch.

How come?

Well, iNewz Green has this neat feature that allows us to share any interesting article we read with everybody else via Twitter. Simply follow us on Twitter, or even add our Twitter feed’s RSS to your favourite RSS reader.

Become a Sharer

You were always told to share growing up, so why not continue that now? If you have an iPhone or iPod touch, install iNewz Green on it and as you read the green news, if you see something you like, share it with your Twitter followers (if you’re not a Twitter user, you can also share the stories you find interesting through Delicious or regular email as well).

Less Posts

A little bit of administrivia… you might have noticed less posts in the last week. If you’ve been following us on Twitter, you’ll have seen that we’re busy working on the application associated with Vertography and will be posting less.

Vertography.com Live

July 12th, 2008 by john

As of this morning, the main vertography.com URL actually points at its own site (for the last week or so it has been redirecting here to the blog while the initial version of the main site was being readied for deployment to the iMountain servers).

There’s not much there at the moment because we’re still working on the code for the site, but if you’re interested in being kept up to date by email rather than here on the blog or through our Twitter feed (and perhaps invited to be an early user of the service), there is a registration form on the page you can fill in.

Welcome to Vertography

June 26th, 2008 by john

Welcome to the Vertography blog! This blog is our way of sharing planet-friendly hints and tips, other green resources we find on the internet as well as our forum to give you information about the on-going development of the Vertography application (more on that soon).

Who Are We?

Vertography is run by a small team of engineers who care about the environment, and want to make it painless for anybody to live green. We think we can help you see that living green doesn’t need to be difficult, and even better it can save you money; money that is much better spent on enjoying your life.

What Are We Going To Write Here?

While we’re busy working on the main application, we’ll be sharing with you some of our hints and tips for living a greener life. And don’t worry, we’re not into hugging trees. We like to enjoy life to the max, but at the same time avoid hurting the planet – after all, it is the only one we have.

We’ll also be writing about new green technology that we hear about; everything from light bulb technology to high performance electric cars are in scope for the blog. If you find something cool out there too, please share it with us either by leaving us a comment or by emailing it to us at feedback@vertography.com.
